  One of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in the Rexburg area. It's visible from so far away and is simply breath-taking.
  
  I've been to many temples all over the world but this is hands down one of my favorites. So beautiful inside and out.
  
  I'd highly recommend visiting and experiencing this temple.

  I have done baptisms for the dead in this temple. People make fun of that phrasing, but I thought it was normal. I thought I was doing a service that would help people get into heaven.
  
  You have to pay 10% of your income for life as tithing to perform ordinances at the temple.
  
  It wasn't until after college when I resigned from the church that I learned that secret handshakes are also a part of Mormonism, and that it's also believed that you need to know those secret handshakes to get into the celestial kingdom, the highest part of heaven in Mormonism.
  
  Besides baptisms for the dead and temple open houses (a time when they open up the temple to everyone to walk through but don't actually show what happens there), I have not been through other parts of the temple while it is open and in use, but thanks to the YouTube channel called NewNameNoah, I've seen recordings of the secret handshakes and all the other stuff I was never told about, like the green aprons and the chanting.

  It is literally the most beautiful building in the city. It is very peaceful. If you are in Rexburg visiting it should be your highest priority.

  Majestically place at the top of the hill in Rexburg, it can be seen for miles around. The grounds have walking paths and places for contemplation. The Temple has a user friendly floor plan, and the Temple workers are always friendly and helpful. A place to truly home in on your relationship with God and to truly realize your self worth. It is well worth the time to go and partake of this amazing blessing.
